Yoga or Weightlifting?

  We’ve all come across a bloke or two that swear on the Bible about pumping iron and it being the epitome of fitness. Benching 240+ pounds may or may not get you all the ladies but it is sure to make every novice, in and out of the gym, come running to you with a questionnaire on your diet and training methods. But ask yourself, are you really fit or are you just muscular? Owing to mainstream media and television, our idea of fitness has become really skewed aimed at admiring masculine figures that punch holes through walls. These same figures may walk around with a damaged ligament or are unable to touch their toes, but who cares about all that anymore. We’re not saying only practice Yoga and weight training ought to be banned. Our sedentary lifestyles haven’t left much room for us to conduct taxing physical activities so a light weight training session 4 days a week can do you good.
